Horsham couple sues Navy for PFCs, seeks $1M

A Horsham couple are suing the Navy and seeking at least $1 million in damages, claiming PFC contamination has left their property “valueless.”

Filed Friday in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in Washington D.C., the lawsuit’s plaintiffs are Frank and Lisa Penna, of the 400 block of Norristown Road.

The suit was filed by Philadelphia environmental law firm Williams Cuker Berezofsky. The firm filed a separate suit against the Navy in September, seeking class-action status for area residents.
